“You’d be perfect if you were taller”, I’ve heard that more than 10 times genuinely, it added up and really effected me a few years ago. I’m 5’6”, take care of myself (in shape, good hair, decent style.. I think). Now I put 5’9” on dating profiles, without changing anything else and get at least double the matches. Some of my short friends wear 4”+ insoles and need to be in high tops or boots everywhere. I’m 5’8 which isn’t too short i guess but my advice is no more than 1 or 2 inches - if you go to a club or something it's just gonna be embarrassing in the end with huge insoles. That's why I just wear shoes with slight elevation bringing me to 5'9 like a nice pair of Air Force ones or Air maxes then add inchmaxxers, they do the job nicely and they are comfortable and my confidence really is improved with them.

My name’s Nathan. I'm 5'7.5" (yes the .5 counts)! I’m 33, born and raised in Birmingham - Aston Villa fan. The footy fans reading this might recognise Philippe Coutinho and Douglas Luiz, during their time at Villa, in the pic above. I had a mutual friend with Phil and ended up on this night out with them.
